JAKL KIDS Gift Cards and Gift Certificates
Please note that these terms and conditions apply to JAKL KIDS Gift Cards and Gift Certificates both digital and physical. Currently JAKL KIDS Gift Cards and Gift Certificates are only redeemable in-store.
General Terms
Gift Cards and Gift Certificates are issued by JAKL KIDS. When you purchase, receive, or apply a Gift Card to your transaction, or use your JAKL KIDS Gift Card to make a purchase, you agree that these terms and conditions, as well as any dispute that may arise between you and JAKL KIDS or its affiliates in connection with your use of a Gift Card or Gift Certificate, will be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, without giving effect to any principles of conflict of laws. JAKL KIDS reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at our discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law. If any of these terms and conditions are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that unenforceable term will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms and conditions.
Lost or Stolen Gift Cards and Certificates
JAKL KIDS Gift Cards and Gift Certificates are not replaceable if lost or stolen and should be treated as cash. JAKL KIDS is not liable or has any responsibility for the loss or theft of gift cards and gift certificates. The purchaser is responsible for and assumes all risk of loss of any JAKL KIDS Gift Card or Gift Certificate.
Final Sale and Non-Returnable
JAKL KIDS Gift Cards and Gift Certificates cannot be cancelled and cannot be returned (non-refundable). In addition JAKL KIDS Gift Cards and Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
JAKL KIDS Gift Card Balance
Gift Cards are able to carry a balance and do not need to be redeemed in full at time of use. Gift Certificates can not carry a balance and must be redeemed in full at time of purchase. If the amount of your Gift Card or Gift Certificate does not cover the total purchase amount, you must pay for the remainder of the purchase with a valid form of payment. If the balance on your Gift Card is more than the total order amount, the balance amount will be stored on your Gift Card for future use. Sales tax is not charged when buying an Gift Card, however purchases paid for with a Gift Card will be charged applicable sales tax at the time of purchase. There is no expiration date on a JAKL KIDS Gift Card. JAKL KIDS Gift Certificates may have an expiration date and if not redeemed by the date on the Gift Certificate, the Gift Certificate will become null and void and the balance after that date with be $0.00 (zero). JAKL KIDS Gift Card balances can be checked in-store.
Expiry
JAKL KIDS Gift Cards have no expiry date. JAKL KIDS Gift Certificates will expire on the date identified on the Gift Certificate.
